What does everyone think about the proposed Co-op store near Screwfix?

Good Idea for a shop shame its CO-OP as they are not the cheapest.

I'm just about in favour of it I think. It will be a welcome to not have to travel to far to get essential bits. I do feel a bit sorry for the shop at Charlestown though. The new link road certainly hampered their business and this will certainly effect it also.

Is it true that they are building a large co-op store on the granby?

Hi chickerelite, I have merged this with a previous thread about the proposed Co-op store.

So far no planning application has been published.

Planners have always been adamant that any retail on the site should be 'non-food', but now that DJ owns it..............

I know a dave cumber vets  are moving but still no co-op
